Fall in love with the natural design features at tropical Bali

There's nothing I enjoy more than including some play with my work. Recently, I had occasion to do just that with the Komune Resort development- Bali.

This resort has a real family holiday focus but it's also a beautiful spot for surfing. (I know.. what could be better!)

So, the focus on my design and with consultation with Tony Cannon, one of the owners of Komune Resort, was to take full advangate of the beautiful natural features and elements. And I made sure to include all those special touches that make for an outstanding holiday destination.

I think that, in this case, pictures are better than words so I've included a slideshow of Komune Resort and my interior and exterior design features. (See below..)
Komune Resort has recenlty been reviewed by channel 9's Getaway program and if you happened to catch Catriona Rowntree's report, you'd have an even greater appreciation of both this idealic destination and the quality of the resort.

While these design features look amazing with the lush backdrop of tropical Bali, they would look equally at home in our own relaxed Australian outddoors and entertainment areas.

    Hi..

I'm David- the owner/architect of freespace Design.

Design, and particularly design in harmony with the environment and natural elements, is my passion.... along with surfing.

I'd like to take a few moments here to share this passion and occasionally highlight some of the current and developing trends in architecture and design.

...and maybe a bit of surfing might creep in, too.
